Products and Services
Skip Steveley & Associates, Inc. developed products, run as a service, which automatically document the code base for the Avaya and Cisco systems. Avaya Vector Analysis documents all of the call vectors in an Avaya switch. Cisco ICM Script Documentation documents all nodes of Cisco ICMS scripts. Both products provide output in both Excel and Word files. The standard Word "compare" feature can detail any individual code changes between any two points in time at the vector or node level.

Avaya Vector Analysis
The Avaya Vector Analysis is created from the export of data tables from the Avaya and modular messaging switches in order to provide complete vector code audit documentation. After the vector steps are itemized, a cross reference is computed to identify all vector to vector branches, even branches to intermediate steps within the vector. Vectors with no VDN or internal vector to vector branches are highlighted red and can be removed. The Excel documents the vectors step by step as they are in the switch including additional derived data. Individual cell comments detail VDN references, cross-references from other vectors, announcement wording (if provided), and variable substitutions. The Excel provides additional tabs itemizing agents and associated skills, skill counts, modular messaging mailboxes, holiday tables, and tabs detailing unused VDN's, skills, announcements, and mailboxes. A Word document exposes all comments from the Excel worksheet and documents the code base in an easy-to-understand format.

Cisco ICM Script Documentation
The Cisco ICM Script documentation documents Cisco ICMS export files. The ICM scripts can be combined in any logical order to provide documentation by business area or other grouping. The automated documentation service produces an Excel file with multiple tabs providing a complete script node audit plus a breakout for variable types and parsed concatenated strings. The Excel worksheets can be sorted to validate formula usage and to identify grammatical anomalies in formulas or in the lengths of dialed numbers.
The Word document documents all ICM code and comments in node execution order. All script line connectors are resolved to their final targets and eliminated. All node ID references within a script are hyperlinked in the document. If prompt wording is provided it will be detailed in both the Excel and Word documents. If dialed number to ICM script names are provided, they will be resolved in the document.
